Thanks to everyone who is helping scatter Craig’s ashes in places that held special significance to him. Craig made meaningful connections far and wide during his life, and it feels most fitting that his remains be put to rest in a way that honors that. My mom and I made the boxes that contain his ashes with an effort to channel his passion for re-use and recycling, and his flair for creativity using simple tools and materials. With some examples of his own up-cycled work for inspiration, we used the insides of boxes scavenged from the dump and decorated them using carved-potato stamps and stencils. We spent an afternoon making them, listening to some tunes he loved, and remembering how much we enjoyed such activities with him in the past.

What a great idea. He would be so pleased about this process that you both created.
Definitely a Craig-filled afternoon! My thanks also to everyone who is helping us remember Craig.
